'Ready to Wear' Wedding Flowers

We do lots of small and medium sized weddings and ceremonies here at The Flower Folk and we understand that keeping things simple and straightforward is often what people want!  We have created this collection for those of you who want beautiful flowers, but minimum fuss and less admin for you.

Our specially curated range of wedding arrangements include what we have found to be our most popular designs in the most frequently asked for colour palettes. Each arrangement will still be unique to you as we use seasonal flowers and foliage that change as the seasons do. In the growing season up here in the north east we try to use as many locally grown flowers as possible in all our wedding work.

Please see our FAQ below for all the information you need before ordering.

Rest assured that one of the team will be in touch once any order is made from our wedding collection.

All You Need To Know / FAQ:

Is there a minimum spend?

No! That's the great thing about our Ready to Wear range, you can order as little or as many arrangements as you like. You can order a few arrangements in your initial order, and make further orders too, so that you can spread the costs out in a way that works for you.

When do I need to order my wedding flowers by?

We need a minimum of 14 days notice for any flowers ordered for your wedding. However, the earlier the better though as this takes any stress away from you to know that your flowers are booked in. You can order up to one year ahead, and we find that most of our wedding orders come to us with 3-6 months notice.

One of the team will be in contact with you once you have made your order to answer any questions you many have.

Is delivery available?

We are able to deliver. We are happy to provide a quote for delivery before you place your order, just email us on weddings@theflowerfolk.com. Once your wedding flowers are ordered a member of the team will be in touch to formally confirm delivery.

Can you provide more information regarding delivery and costs?

We are very happy to arrange delivery within the Newcastle area, and also understand that many venues are further out of the city in surrounding countryside. We will therefore quote you a cost which is bespoke to where the delivery location is, and consider whether any set up is required. For example, if you order table centre vases along with bridal party flowers we will set the tables centres up at the venue. An example, for delivery to Halton Grove or Shortflatt Tower (half an hour drive away from our shop) for bridal party flowers only would cost £35. For set up of table centres too would be an extra £15, therefore £50 total.

Can I add bespoke elements to any of the arrangements?

Yes, it is possible for us to adapt our ready to wear range and customise it to your needs. For example, if you would like a certain flower type added to your arrangements or particular colours added or removed that is not a problem. When placing your order there is a 'Notes' box where you have the opportunity to request specific requirements. You can also email us these details.

When should we collect our flowers?

We suggest that you collect your flowers the day before your wedding, or on the morning of your wedding if you have the time. The flowers will be packaged safely and appropriately for safe transit. For example the bridal bouquets and other bridal party flowers will be aqua- packed. This means the stems are sitting in water to keep them as fresh as possible. We provide a care leaflet which provides info on how to look after your flowers so you get the most out of them.

Hiring Vases and Props Info

If hiring vases and props (see our Wedding Hire Collection) we would need these to be returned to us within one week of your wedding date. More information on hiring props can be found by clicking through to the Wedding Hire Collection. It is sometimes possible that we can come out to collect the day after your wedding but there would be an additional delivery fee for this.
