    Workshop Cancellation Details

    Our floristry workshop cancellation policy is as follows:

    Cancellations made + 7 days before the workshop date - Full refund or transfer onto a new workshop date.

    Cancellation 2 - 6 days before the workshop date. 50% refund or 50% value of workshop transferred onto new workshop date.

    Cancellation made less than 2 days before the workshop date. No refund or transfer available.

    If you have booked a private workshop the full balance is due 7 days before the workshop takes place. If any guests cancel after this point no refund for cancelled places is available.

    How to get to our Wheelbirks Workshops

    Wheelbirks is situated near Riding Mill in northumberland, just 14 miles from the centre of Newcastle. The address is Wheelbirks, Stocksfield, NE43 7HY. Using the postocde in any map app will take you directly to the farm. Our flower studio is in the main courtyard.

    How to get to our Jesmond Store Workshops

    Our shop in Jesmond is located at 20 Brentwood Avenue, NE2 3DH. We are just 5 minutes walk from West Jesmond metro station and there is free parking along the street, and paid parking further along near to the metro.

    Product Details

    Join us in our new floristry studio at Wheelbirks for a morning of creating beautiful spring floral arrangements. 

    Anyone is welcome to our floristry workshops - if you have done any floristry or classes before (with us or elsewhere), or whether you are a total beginner. We can work to all levels and there is always more to learn and practice when there fresh flowers to work with. 

    We will be working towards creating 2 flower arrangements intended to dress different areas of your home in a range of scenarios. Hosting dinner guests might require a lovely mantle arrangement, overnight guests might delight in a gorgeous bedside table display or a special occasion might call for a beautiful bouquet to gift. We will explore it all and send you away with all the skills needed to dress your home with seasonal flowers.

    We will be using seasonal flowers for the arrangements, making the most of working with what the season has to offer - the class covers various floristry techniques, top tips and Pip will share her floristry knowledge in this informative session which will involve demonstrations as well as plenty of time for practical work for participants to enjoy working with flowers in their own time. 

    The course will run from 10am - 2pm, with a break part way through. 

    We provide everything you need to create your arrangements which includes all flowers and foliage and any vessels used for arrangements. At the end of the class you will of course take home your floral arrangements with you.

    Refund Policy

    We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. 

    To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. 

    To start a return, you can contact us at orders@theflowerfolk.com. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

    Damages and issues 
    Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

    Exceptions / non-returnable items 
    Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. 

    Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

    Exchanges 
    The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

    Refunds 
    We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
