This floristry class is designed to give you an understanding of basic floristry principles as well as a fun and informative hands on practical session which allows you to put these principles into practice. At the end you can take away your own beautiful floral creation made with seasonal flowers and foliage.
This Spring workshops allows us to use the best their is to offer of gorgeous spring flowers - tulips, anemone and ranunculus you name a few. Will brighten up any home and reminds us to what a beautiful season it is!
We will cover basics such as conditioning and how to look after cut flowers to prolong their life, how to select flowers and foliage (colours, shapes, textures), moving on to creating your own hand tied or vase arrangement.
Once your hand tied arrangement has been made you will be shown how to gift wrap the bouquet, which you can then take home safely wrapped or you could even give your creation away as a gift!
Participants are welcome to bring along their own vase or vessel to put their arrangements into rather than gift wrapping. We also have a range of vases to buy at extra cost if needed.

This class runs for roughly 1.5 - 2 hours.
We work hard to make your experience at one of our workshops to be as interesting, informative and enjoyable as possible. We aim to pass on our specialist knowledge to all, and enjoy any questions you may have, so ask away!
We keep numbers small which helps add to the relaxed and more intimate atmosphere, we also like to ensure that we have time to give each participant some one to one tuition and/or encouragement! We welcome any feedback (good or bad) as we seek to improve where we can. We have feedback forms available at the end of each class which can be filled in voluntarily.
NB. Due to covering costs of flowers and catering full refunds are only available if 7 days notice is given. 50% refunds given if less than 7 days up to 24 hours prior to event.
